BHMS's Year 1 Diploma costs CHF 39'700, all-inclusive — and every BHMS programme fee already bundles accommodation, meals, health insurance and visa support into that one figure, rather than billing them as extras afterward.

Over a 12-month year, the personal-expenses allowance adds roughly CHF 6'000 to your real budget. Plan for it.

Swiss citizens and C-permit holders receive a 30% reduction on tuition fees for all BHMS programmes taught in English with a duration of at least 12 months.

What does the fee actually include?
Tuition and career services, accommodation in a 2-bed shared apartment on the LakeSide Campus (no kitchen), meals (three a day on weekdays, two a day at weekends, on holidays and during term breaks), health insurance covering accident, illness and medical treatment, your first airport pickup, and visa and administrative support.
What is not included?
BHMS states you should budget about CHF 500 per month for personal expenses such as laundry, mobile phone usage and local travel. Flights beyond the first airport pickup are also on you. A CHF 1'500 refundable room deposit is required, and a room upgrade costs extra: a Shared Superior apartment on the City Campus (3–4 beds, with kitchen) CHF 1'200, a Studio Standard on the LakeSide Campus CHF 4'900, a Studio Superior on the City Campus CHF 7'900.
Is there a discount for Swiss residents?
Yes. Swiss citizens and holders of a C permit receive a 30% reduction on tuition fees for all BHMS programmes taught in English with a duration of at least 12 months.
Do internship earnings cover the fees?
No — they offset them. Across the three-year bachelor the three six-month placements come to more than CHF 43'000 gross at the Swiss rate BHMS publishes, against roughly CHF 122'100 in fees. That is a meaningful reduction in the real cost, not a way to fund the degree. Plan your funding on the fee figures.
When do I pay?
Nothing is due when you enquire or apply through this site. A deposit follows your Letter of Acceptance. Confirm the current payment schedule and deadlines with BHMS admissions before you commit.
Are these figures final?
They are the 2027 rates from the official BHMS fees flyer, and fees are reviewed annually. The one exception is the Graduate Certificate: it is not in the 2027 flyer, so its figure is the 2026 rate, marked as such. Where this page and that document ever differ, the official BHMS document and your admissions offer are what count.
