Two campuses, one school
BHMS runs two campuses: Lucerne, at Guetschstrasse 2-6, and Zurich, at Vulkanstrasse 106, Zurich. The hotel and hospitality management programmes on this site are taught in Lucerne.
Lucerne sits in the centre of Switzerland, roughly an hour from Zurich Airport by train — which matters more than it sounds, because it puts you inside commuting distance of a large share of the Swiss hotel industry you will be interviewing with.

Airport pickup
Your first arrival is met. After a long flight into an unfamiliar country, this is worth more than it costs.
Visa support
Visa and administrative support is part of the package. Allow 8–12 weeks for non-EU processing, 4–6 for EU.
Career services
Internship and job placement support is bundled into tuition, not charged as an add-on.

Where you live
Shared apartments, not a hotel room
Standard accommodation is a shared apartment for three to four students. You will be living with people from other countries from your first week — which, in a school whose entire point is international hospitality, is part of the training rather than a compromise.
Room types and availability vary by intake and are confirmed by admissions when you accept your place. This site does not publish a room inventory, because BHMS does not.

What is around you
Lucerne's old town, the lake and the Rigi and Pilatus railways are on the doorstep. Zurich, Bern and the Bernese Oberland are all short train rides away, and Switzerland's rail network makes weekends genuinely easy to plan without a car.
It is also, not incidentally, one of the most photographed places in Europe — which is why so much of the Swiss hospitality industry is concentrated within an hour of it.

Where exactly is the campus?

Is accommodation included in the fee?
Yes. Accommodation in a shared 3–4 bed apartment is part of the programme fee, alongside meals, health insurance, your first airport pickup and visa administration.
What meals are provided?
Three meals a day during the week, and two meals a day at weekends, on holidays and during term breaks.
What is not covered?
BHMS advises budgeting about CHF 500 per month for personal expenses such as laundry, mobile phone usage and local travel. Flights beyond the first airport pickup are also not included.
Am I insured while I am in Switzerland?
The fee includes health insurance covering accident, illness and medical treatment. Swiss residency rules require health cover, so this is one fewer thing to arrange before you arrive.
How do I get there when I land?
Your first airport pickup is included in the fee. Lucerne sits about an hour from Zurich Airport by train, in the centre of Switzerland.
